Atlantic City police find missing teen

  • News
A teen missing and believed in danger has been found, Atlantic City police said. She is being questioned by detectives, but no further information is being released at this time.
PREVIOUS REPORT: Sierra Reighn — also known as Sierra Heaton — was last seen two days ago, according to a Facebook post by Dawn Marie Peterson, whose daughter is the girl's cousin. The girl's mother notified Atlantic City police shortly after 3:30 p.m. Saturday, saying her 17-year-old daughter was missing and possibly being held against her will, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. "We (were) told that some pimps in A.C. had gotten to her," Peterson wrote in a Facebook post. The girl, who goes by Cece, was last seen at the High Gate in Atlantic City and was then believed to have been taken to a hotel from there, Peterson told BreakingAC on Saturday evening. Later Saturday night, Atlantic City police put out a request for help from the public. Detectives Dawn Riggs and Ann McGlynn questioned several individuals and also searched two locations for the girl, Fair wrote. Sierra is 5-foot-1 and weighs about 115 pounds. She has strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes, with a tattoo on her hip. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black leather jacket, gray leggings, and black combat boots. Sierra was last seen in the 2800 block of Pacific Avenue.
