Truck and police car towed from scene in Port Republic. He continued over the Peter Egnor Bridge on Albany Avenue then onto the Atlantic City Expressway and eventually the Garden State Parkway, according to the report. He got off the parkway in Galloway Township and ended up on Sooy's Landing Road, a dirt road in Port Republic, where he stopped. The driver was given multiple commands to exit, as police conducted a high-risk stop. He got out of the truck, but then got back in and put it into reverse. A screwdriver was found in truck, which was believed to have been used to start the stolen vehicle. The 16-year-old was charged with eluding, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and possession of burglar tools. He was taken to Harborfields Juvenile Detention Center in Egg Harbor City. As the incident came to an end, Officer Brendan Andros' patrol car slid on the gravel and struck another marked car, Fair said. There was minor damage to the vehicles, but no injuries.
