Atlantic City police warn of bad heroin batch

Atlantic City police are warning the public about a potentially bad batch of heroin.
Six people have died of overdoses in the past week, with at least two tied to a batch stamped “King of Death.”
“Although any heroin use can be deadly, we have seen an increase in heroin overdoses in the last week,” Sgt. Kevin Fair said in a release.
Police responded to six overdoses within six hours Wednesday.
Four were revived using Narcan, Fair said. Two others died.
Call 911 immediately if you know someone who may be using heroin and experiencing an overdose.
