An Egg Harbor Township man was killed in a crash early Wednesday morning in Hamilton Township.
Gregory Gellien Jr., 32, was driving south on Malaga Road at about 1 a.m. when he lost control trying to make a right turn onto Jackson Road and struck a tree, according to a preliminary investigation.
Police responding to the scene found Gellian injured and trapped inside his vehicle, police said.
The Weymouth and Collings Lakes volunteer fire departments responded and got Gellian out of the vehicle, and he was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus in Atlantic City, where he died from his injuries.
The investigation is being conducted by Sgt. Schnurr. Gellien was not wearing his seatbelt and there were no witnesses, police aid.
