Dozen Atlantic City police officers retire

Atlantic City lost a dozen police officers to retirement Tuesday. All have served at least a quarter-century on the force, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. Those retiring include the Police Department’s only current deputy chief, William Mazur. Also retiring are Capts. Frank Brennan and Robert DeGaetano, Sgts. Chris Barber, Dave Madamba and Ed Reigel, and Officers Keith Bennett, Lonell Jones, Jerrell Lathan, Andy Pronovost, and brothers David and Michael Trivers. “We wish them great success in their future endeavors,” Fair said of the retirees.
