A Galloway Township motorcyclist is in critical condition after he crashed early Tuesday morning.
James Ireland Jr., 36, was heading north on New York Road near East Brook Lane when he failed to negotiate a curve and went off the road, hitting a sign and utility pole, police said.
Ireland was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus, where he was in critical condition.
The road was closed for about 3½ hours.
Charges are pending in the crash.
