The brutal killing of the Deal family inside their Folsom home sent shock waves through the community.
Gary Deal, 26, was found Oct. 30, 1978, lying near the front door of his Mays Landing Road home. His wife, Joan Deal also 26, was found naked on their bedroom floor. Both were shot multiple times in the head, their throats cut.
Their 3-year-old son, Jason, was lying on his bed in his pajamas with his throat slashed.
