Atlantic City event looks to unite region with music

  • News

An Atlantic City production duo is looking to join the city in music and partnership for charity.
NorStep is putting together CityWide, a two-day event set for November that will benefit four local charities, partners Stephen Weiss and Noranne Thompson announced.
Any performers, businesses or volunteers looking to join in are welcome.
“It has been a dream of NorStep to unite the city we call home,” Weiss said. “Never has there been a greater need for unity. We call upon our neighbors to join us in uniting Atlantic City and the surrounding communities of Ventnor, Margate and Longport through music and arts.”
Every business on the island is invited to join in the two-day event set for Nov. 15 and 16, Weiss said.
“We will put music in as many of these establishments as possible,” he said. “for two days, our city will be one voice through music that will echo for as long as we keep the music playing.”
