An Atlantic City man wanted in a stabbing has been arrested.
Christopher Parker, 57, is charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses in the stabbing Sunday at New York and Pacific avenues, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
Atlantic City police put out a wanted flyer for him Wednesday. He was arrested by Officer Richard Link on Friday in the first block of Florida Avenue.
Police were called to the stabbing at 9:10 p.m. Sunday, according to the report.
Officer Justin Peyton found the 53-year-old victim suffering from severe injuries. He created a makeshift tourniquet on the man’s arm, Fair said.
The victim, whose name was not released, allegedly intervened during a dispute between Parker and his former girlfriend.
After stabbing the victim, Parker fled south on New York Avenue, according to the report. An investigation by officers and detectives of the Street Crimes Unit led to the identification of Parker, who was then charged.
