People filming themselves jumping off the Brigantine Bridge were chased away by police Sunday evening.
No one was injured.
Two people jumped from the bridge with a third one videoing it, City Manager Jim Bennett told BreakingAC.
When the jumpers came back up to try it again, they heard sirens and took off, Bennett said.
It is illegal and very dangerous to jump off the bridge, Bennett noted.
Members of Brigantine’s Public Safety departments, along with New Jersey State police and the U.S. Coast Guard thoroughly checked the area, he said.
