The inside the Vermont Plaza parking garage fire filled several floors with smoke, Fire Chief Scott Evans said.
The smoke "created additional panic with residents," Evans said. But the "fire was contained to the parking garage."|
One person was taken to the hospital for precautionary observation, he said.
The car was on the second floor, with heavy smoke reaching to the fifth floor.
