Hamilton Township police searching for carjacking suspect

Hamilton Township police are searching for a man who allegedly forced a woman from her car in the Walmart parking lot Thursday. The suspect approached the unnamed 34-year-old woman as she was entering her car at about 11:40 p.m., police said. She told police that the man dressed in all black and wearing a black mask threatened to hurt her if she didn't get out of the car, according to the report. She complied, and he fled in the champagne colored 2003 Chrysler Sebring. The car has NJ tags T74 GNS. The woman was not physically injured. The suspect is described as being between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9 with a stocky/muscular build. Anyone with information is asked to contact Hamilton Township police at 609-625-2700.
