The Verizon Wireless TCC store in Margate is giving away backpacks filled with school supplies Sunday.
The move is part of a nationwide event at all TCC stores.
Anyone can come pick up their backpack at 7828 Ventnor Ave. without making a purchase, as long as the child (or children) is with them.
The event was supposed to end at 4 p.m., but has been extended to 5 p.m.
