Man arrested after allegedly entering Hamilton home with chilled wine

  • News

Hamilton Township residents, check on your wine.
A Barnegat man was arrested for entering a residence in the area of Hanthorn, Second and Thirs streets Tuesday morning, after police responded to reports of a suspicious white male entering yards in the area .
But when police found Nicholas Kutassy, he was concealing a chilled bottle of wine that was not taken from the residence he was confirmed to have entered, police said.
So, the owner of the wine may not realize their residence was entered, according to the report.
Kutassy entered at least one residence through a rear door, police confirmed.
He was released on a summons.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Township of Hamilton Police Department at 609-625-2700.
